The frequency of contact change for welding robots is one of the projects where welding data changes frequently. The direction of the fixed welding wire during this period of contact plays a certain role because the instantaneous current flowing during the closing of the arc after welding is too easy to condense the corroded outlet. The welding wire and contact have been welded before performing the welding operation. The information and process of the contact determine its service life. Most of the information on the contacts is brass, copper, chrome copper, and rarely used beryllium copper. Among them, copper is commonly used in process welding. The material of chrome copper is better and more economical than copper. It is a commonly used method in robot welding. except ˉ In addition to welding the contact and welding wire together, there is another time-consuming problem, which is that the hole diameter is much larger than the welding wire, and the welding wire's azimuth angle cannot be fixed properly. Technical welding can still stop some operations, but due to the robot stopping welding based on the revised program, the hole diameter will be large, resulting in welding deviation and uneven molding. Therefore, once the contact is too large, it is necessary to replace the contact. Usually, it is recommended to change the contacts every 48 hours for low currents below 50A, and every 12 hours for high currents above 180A. Of course, it depends on the diameter of the hole being punched.
